I'm always perplexed by these acts. Who does it profit? They cant sell them. Were the guards at the museum in on it? I've sometimes heard stories where these famous paintings are found many years later. Very sad...Thanks for sharing.
You're going to love Paris! I'm also turning fifty this year (the day after Bastille Day) and considered spending my birthday in Paris, but have decided to delay my gratification until the Fall. Good luck!

This is so sad. Somebody really screwed up! There was a failure, somewhere, by someone; It is a grave loss, indeed and I hope the thieves are caught!
