J'aime Caniches Français

Caniches Français is French Poodle. And if you read my earlier post, you know - I'm back to making handmade cards. Just for a special order. And so I had to show you the new French Poodle card I made last night ...
My Bichon Frise, Chloe Honeygo Beasley thinks they're divine (of, course - they're her kind) but not exactly. So she's asking, "Where's mine?"

P.S. As you'll see, the poodle may be French, but the heart ornament has the word "Love" in Italian - "Amore" (in French it's "Amour"). I got my romance languages confused! I am going to fix it ... right now. Or do you think it's okay to have a French poodle that speaks Italian? : )

Bonjour Cynthia!
Your beautiful card made me think encore why I love all things French! Your classy canine has such style, alouf with a her nose in the air...and yet aware of all around her. Dressed to the 9's for her morning stroll through her classy Paris arrondissement....Bravo!

This card is so cute. And of course, everyone is Europe speaks several languages. Why should a French poodle be any different?
Quite a fun talent you have Cynthia.

Thanks, Cheryl and Meg.

@Meg: I am so glad you reassured me about the "Amore." I made another Valentine's Day card with "Amour" - so now I have all bases covered!

I thought the language of love was universal!!

I have four cats, two speak French and two speak Italian, but "meow" means the same thing in any language. Translation: "Are you going to pet me RIGHT NOW or do I have to do something really annoying to get your attention???"

From the BBC series on Paris, Blood and Chocolate (Part 2 of 3). Enjoy!

Streets of Paris - I shot this the day I left Paris, on a rainy September morning.
