Valentine Papillon

HONEYGO BEASLEY CARDS by Cynthia Maniglia
Valentine Papillon, special order - one of a kind
My darling Mark is of French/Canadian descent, and his mother Theresa grew up in Vermont, within a large French/Canadian residential community. When Theresa went to school, she often gazed out the window, daydreaming. This is how, Theresa told me, her teachers gave her the nickname "Papillon" - French for "butterfly."

I have always loved butterflies. This is so beautiful.

When I was a little girl running around and not concentrating on what I should have been concentrating on, my father would say, "Minute papillon," which means stay put for a minute little butterfly and pay attention.

This brings back memories. Thank you.
